ClosingCorp has named Tom Rice vice president, national account representative.

Prior to joining ClosingCorp, Rice was business development manager, Southwest region, of Optimal Blue Secondary Services.

He was also sales director at Veros Real Estate Solutions, Southwest regional account manager at Black Knight Financial services and Southwest regional account manager at CalyxSoftware.

SAN FRANCISCO

The San Francisco division of Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. has expanded into Marin County.

The Bay Area division managers, Michael Koran and Dane Moler, will oversee the new office location in Larkspur.

Koran is a 12-year veteran of the mortgage industry and Moler has been in the San Francisco mortgage industry for well over a decade.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

WASHINGTON

The CRE Finance Council, a trade association for the commercial real estate finance industry, said that Lisa Pendergast has been named executive director.

Pendergast brings to CREFC 25 years of industry experience in structured finance markets.

Most recently, she was managing director and head of CMBS strategy and risk for Jefferies LLC in the fixed-income division's MBS/ABS/CMBS group.

FLORIDA

ACES Risk Management has hired Dan Thoms as chief revenue officer.

Thoms previously served as executive vice president of sales and chief strategy officer for AllRegs from 2006 through the acquisition of the company by Ellie Mae in 2014.

Prior to that, he was vice president of education and business development for the Mortgage Bankers Association.

NORTH DAKOTA

MINOT

Investors Real Estate Trust has hired Mark Decker Jr. as its new president and chief investment officer.

Decker will replace Timothy Mihalick as president, but Mihalick will continue to serve as chief executive officer.

Decker most recently served as managing director and U.S. group head of real estate investment and corporate banking at BMO Capital Markets.

He started his career in banking in Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. Inc.'s financial institutions group.

PENNSYLVANIA

PHILADELPHIA

Radian Group Inc. has appointed Jeff Tennyson as president of Clayton Holdings, Radian's principal mortgage and real estate services business.

Tennyson has served as interim president of Clayton since March 2016, with responsibility for the overall operating results of Clayton's business lines.

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, he joined Clayton from his post as chief operating officer of B2R Finance.

Prior to B2R Finance, Tennyson was the chief executive officer and chairman of Strategic Lending Group and managing director of Strategic Growth Bank.
